This policy explains what EFEX Innovation Pty Ltd (ABN 45 661 551 220) does with personal information collected through this website. It is written to describe this site specifically, rather than in general terms.
What we collect
If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, optional company name and message you provide. Our server also records the IP address the request came from.
We collect nothing else. This site has no accounts, no logins, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies — which is why you have not been asked to accept any.
Why we collect it
The details you submit are used to respond to your enquiry. Your IP address is used only to rate-limit the form, so that one sender cannot flood it.
Who else is involved
Running this site means a small number of service providers necessarily handle some of this information:
- Google Firebase Hosting serves these pages over a global content network.

Google Cloud Run, in the
australia-southeast1region (Sydney), processes contact-form submissions. - Resend delivers the resulting email to us. Mail transits Amazon SES infrastructure in the course of delivery.
- Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise checks that submissions are not automated. Google receives request metadata for this purpose, under Google's own privacy policy and terms of service.
- Plausible Analytics counts page views. It sets no cookies, uses no persistent identifier, and collects no personal information.
- Google Workspace hosts the mailbox your message arrives in.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are retained in our mailbox for as long as they remain commercially relevant. Server logs, which include IP addresses, are retained for 30 days and then deleted. Personal information is removed from logs before they are written wherever we can do so.
Where it is held
Contact-form processing happens in Australia. Some of the providers listed above operate globally, so information may be handled outside Australia in the course of hosting and email delivery.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@efex.io and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy matter, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
